Introducing Oracle Forms Quarterly Patch Release

in Oracle Forms (MOSC)

Beginning in January 2022, Oracle will be transitioning to a more flexible and responsive strategy for the Oracle Forms patch release process. This will provide customers with a more flexible way to both:

a) Efficiently adopt Bug fixes when needed.

b) Efficiently keep current with Quarterly Security Updates.

All fixes will be part of Quarterly Patch Releases (QPRs) normally released every quarter, which are proactive cumulative patches containing recommended bug fixes that are released on a regular and predictable schedule. QPRss are on the same quarterly schedule as the Critical Patch Updates (CPU). Please see the "Critical Patch Updates" link on the Oracle Technical Network page for details and a schedule forecast.
