Invoice workbench: Amount we see on the distributions screen is different from backend table

Amount we see on the Invoice Distributions tab is different from what we see on ap_invoice_distributions_v.amount or ap_invoice_distributions.amount field. Is there a different calculations for the amount calculation on the form?
