Project Budget baseline API erroring out with

|Error Message: from baseline API 1 - Error generating account for the budget lines|Error Message: from baseline API 2 - The budget account generation failed.

What could be the cause ? How to debug this issue? Unable to reproduce the issue in any test instances other than Prod.

Need some help.
