Announcement:Council tax attachment of earnings orders Changes for Wales from April 2022 release

Dear Customer,

You may be aware that last year the Welsh government published a consultation regarding updating the rates used in the calculation of Council Tax Attachment of Earnings Orders. Following this, legislation was passed in February to introduce these changes, which apply to any CTAEO issued by a Welsh authority on or after 1st April 2022. The Oracle application has been updated to support the new rates.

The following patch is now available to download and apply via My Oracle Support:

•   R12.2 : Patch 33904987:R12.PAY.C- HRGlobal

•   R12.1 : Patch 33904987:R12.PAY.B- HRGlobal*

This patch provides the changes required for processing of Council Tax Attachment of Earnings Orders issued in Wales from 1st April 2022.
