If an item is not putaway will it effect auto-replenishment?

Hi,

If an item was not putaway correctly due to missing IN UNIT on the requisition, will that effect auto-replenishment? A user adjustment (trans group 050) was used to increase the on hand quantity for the item.

We're on PeopleSoft 9.2
