How to increase the DFF characters limit?

How to increase the DFF characters limit from 150 to 2000. Please check the attached word file for more details.

Business Scenario:

It’s a problem every time PLM/PDH try to release a design that has more than 149 REF DES characters for a single component.

PLM cannot send these records because of max limit on Attribute5 under table name ‘BOM_INVENTORY_COMPONENTS’ is setup as 150.

That is maximum available as per DFF setup form.

When it does, we have to do the following:

 In the PLM application, we remove all the Reference Designator (REF DES) information for the applicable components in the design and temporarily copy it
