Schedule reserved order line, conflict with ATP

Hello all,

I have a sales order line for which I can reserve material, so there is stock on-hand and some quantities are reservable. Request date is today. There are may other open demands for the same item like sales orders/wip jobs. ATP available date is calculated as some date next year (= infinite supply).

This results in my scheduled ship date being set to far in the future, even though I could deliver now.

Does anyone know if you can get the ATP date set to today(?) for reserved order lines? Override ATP would be an option, but we'd prefer an automated way.
