ASM Filter Driver - adding new disks in a RAC cluster

Hello,

I am sorry as this is a newbie question to ask about adding disks using asm filter driver.

I have a 2 node RAC cluster running Oracle 19.11 on RHEL8.2 and the ASM disks are managed using the ASM filter driver.

I need to add 2 disks to an existing disk group and I tried but I forgot one step I think and when I attempted to add the disks it errored with:

ORA-15032: not all alterations performed

ORA-15075: disk AFD:FRA_DISK6 is not visible on instance number 2

ORA-15075: disk AFD:FRA_DISK5 is not visible on instance number 2

so I checked on node 2 and under /dev/oracleafd/disks the 2 new disks labelled as FRA_DISK5 and FRA_DISK6 are not listed.
