Adjustment on the Lease Asset in Oracle EBS R12

Dears,

Appreciate your support with the below question,

We have a lease asset and lets say the contract for this asset ends in 31/12/2021.

in 2022 we extended this contract and we did an adjustment on the old asset to reflect the contract extend action.

when we do that , the new amount for the contract is added to the old amount and the depreciation changes also for the old periods.

it is mean that the depreciation for the lease asset in handling the adjustment like the ordinary asset.

and we need it to depreciate the new amount starting form the period that the adjustment happened in it.
