I am using JDE Enterprise One 9.2 . Having few concerns and would like to know your experience

Does anyone have experience in handling Weighted Average Cost in Batch Mode?
What is the main reason to go for WA Cost Batch Mode instead of having Online?
If I am currently using online , can I change that to Batch Mode any time ?

I have referred to the document below, would like to know your practical experience if any
