Defer datapatch on Standby Databases

I need to apply one-off GI and DB patch 31770076 first to my disaster recovery RAC environment and then a week later to my production RAC environment. The disaster recovery environment also contains a couple of physical standby databases whose source primary database live on the production environment. My confusion is surrounding datapatch and the standby databases. I understand that datapatch fixes get applied to the standby databases when datapatch is ran on the primary database, but I will not be running the datapatch utility on the primary databases until a week later when the production environment gets patched. How do I handle the standby databases in my disaster
