Dear Oracle Community

I'm trying to install Oracle RAC in Windows environment and so far everything is ok. My problem is regarding the environment variables at the end.

Can you help with this? We can have only one ORACLE_SID, ORACLE_BASE and ORACLE_HOME. So what is the best way to do it or even to reinstall it in other directories, all together, GRID and ORACLE?

RAC:

  • ORACLE_SID=+ASM1 and +ASM2 (second node)
  • ORACLE_BASE=F:\grid
  • ORACLE_HOME=F:\grid\product\11.2.0\gridhome_1

Oracle Database

  • ORACLE_SID=ORCL1 and ORCL2 (second node)
  • ORACLE_BASE=F:\oracle
  • ORACLE_HOME=F:\oracle\product\12.2.0\dbhome_1
