Attendance Tracking Violations – How do you handle points and the end of a tracking period?

We are currently on PeopleSoft 9.2 Image 37 (upgrading to Image 41) and are considering using the Attendance Tracking feature of Time and Labor. But our business rules don’t match the functionality exactly.  Our business rule is that when the tracking period ends the violation points that accumulated during the tracking period are forgiven/rolled off.  So, if you had five points before the period ended, we start you off with zero points when the new period starts. Attendance tracking keeps the history and accumulates points on top of the 5 already earned.  What we would like to know is if anyone else
