24x7 Cube Availability

In Essbase/EPM 11.1.2.4 installed on AIX, we use Analytic Provider Services to create an Essbase cluster named, for example, Cube24x7. In that cluster, we add the application and cube CUBE.db from esb-server:1423 (esb-server) and CUBE.db from esb-server:1424 (esb-server1). To explain better, we installed 2 instances of Essbase on the same host, "esb-server". The agent of the first instance listens to port 1423, the second instance agent listens on port 1424. Each instance has a cube named "CUBE" with database "db."

From the perspective of SmartView, users see the following in the Shared Connections panel:
