Locator Control

Hi,

Question on enabling locator_control for an item. Prespecified.

Took all the onhand_qty out of inventory using misc issue.

Still the locator control field is greyed out.

But when removing the item from mtl_supply it's enabled. Actually did -(item_id) so it does not find the item in mtl_supply.

what is the correct process to move items from mtl_supply and put them back.. or is it ok to

-item_id, enable locator control and update the item_id back by removing the -ve.

Please advise the correct process.
