Translation process does not create any entries

in General Ledger - EBS (MOSC) 1 commentAnswered

I created a new entity in an existing Canadian ledger .I ran the translation process for the new entity's balancing segment and the process finishes successfully without errors but produces no translation entries but i expect to see some entries. Any pointers on what could be wrong ?
