Carrier Number Field (CARS) added via Form Extension in header doesn't search data!

Hi,

I have added the Carrier Number Field (CARS) via form extension to the applications,

• P42040 (Header and Detail Grid): In P42040, the header field doesn't fetch the data but the detail grid does. upon sharing this form extension user can see the field with his/her role.
• P42117 (Header and Detail Grid): The same case with the header of P42117, it doesn't fetch the data and in the detail grid we don't have a search field. Upon sharing user can't see the field even after adding his/her role in the security.

Any specific reason why the header field search is not working in both applications?, and second, the CARS field in P42117 is not visible to the user even after the role is added to the security?
