Issue with disconnects from clients on a separate VLAN
We have an Oracle 12c standard edition server running on Windows 2012 R2 64-bit. We run an enterprise management system (VISUAL Manufacturing). We recently segmented some clients into a separate VLAN routing traffic through our firewall (Fortigate FG 101E). Other than antivirus filtering, there are no restrictions on traffic going through the firewall. However, we are seeing numerous disconnects between the server and clients resulting in program lock-ups or crashes. The server messages are "TNS-12535: TNS:operation timed out" and the client message is "ORA-24324: service handle not initialized"
We're wondering if anyone else has experienced this issue.
