Calculating the depreciation two times in same period.

we have created assets with Mass addition process, Depreciation completed , Accounted and transferred to GL then we came to know that expenses account value is wrong but period is not closed.
what is the financial impact, if I change the account value and calculate the depreciation again?
Is it correct process of calculating the depreciation two times in a same period with different expenses account for the same asset?
From where it is defaulted (Expenses account) in Invoice distribution we gave asset clearing account , Category account value is different than expense account value in asset.
