GG, SQL Server CDC, and table that sees 8 million updates daily

in GoldenGate, Streams and Distributed Database (MOSC) Question

All,

I'm looking at the efficacy of utilizing GG to replicate data from some tables in a database that sees an incredible volume of transactions. Just one specific table in the suite seen at least 4 million updates between 5am-noon today; a full day will be at least double that number. Is there anyone out there pushing such high transactions (I know that's subjective, so it's high to me) through GoldenGate? I'd like to try and pick your brain a bit and find out about your experiences with the product in such a volatile environment.
