Automatic Temporary Tablespace Shrink 21c Query

Hi Experts,

Need some clarification on Automatic Temporary Tablespace Shrink 21c as I didn’t find much explanation on Automatic Temporary Tablespace Shrink 21c in Oracle Doc 21c.

Could you please help me with following information :-

  1. Resizing temp from 1G to 10G ( lets say) and if no temp is being utilized in DB , would it get resized to 1G again and reclaim space @OS level. ( As per Doc it’s a YES)
  2. Which job does this resizing and what’s the frequency of that .
  3. In case, resizing of temp files happens automatically , how can we avoid it if customer wants to manage this manually . (
