Assets additions question

Hello , in R12 an issue on 1-apr-2022 was not able to complete the new record for Additions, the MAR-22 period was still open in FA, MAR-22 period in GL open too.APR-22 GL period was Future-Entry status

go to assets workbench / click on Additions button, enter the Assets Details field, click on Continue, then on this window, no values were retrieved for the Book

what could be the reason?

today the user was able to enter the addition record, The Book field listed the LOV
