Moving Oracle database from Non ASM to ASM on Grid Infrastructure

Hi All,

I have one oracle database (12.1.0.2) running on Linux 7.9 with O.S. user oracle

On the same server, as grid user, I installed Grid Infrastructure (12.1.0.2), (using option -> Install and Configure GI for a standalone server.)

Both Oracle and Grid have oinstall as primary and asmadmin as secondary group.

Now I want to migrate my Non ASM oracle database to ASM on the GI I have installed.

Please let me know any link, any steps or any Note ID.

I searched and found many links related to migrating non asm to asm database, but that are not working as the database running is not detecting the ASM on GI, neither asmcmd command is detecting the "DATA" diskgroup that I created during the GI Installation.
