How can I suppress warranties based on sold to operating unit?

We are shipping out of one warehouse for two different operating units. One operating unit provides a warranty, the other does not. I have the warranty in the BOM of the item for that warehouse but is there a way to suppress the warranty creation for the operating unit when the order is shipped?
