Oracle Organization Items Attributes

Hi

With Organization items having 400+ attributes is it possible to lock down the attributes based on roles or responsibilities.

Example - physicals attributes - Weight unit of measure & unit weight would be owned by a department/role so should have the ability to update but for other roles/responsibilities then should be view only
