What would be timelines for upgrading JDE 9.1 to JDE 9.2 Release 22

Hi,

Has anyone done the upgrade to Release 22 from app release lower than 9.2? we are currently in app 9.1 and tools release 9.1.4.7. We would like to Upgrade to Release 22 using a separate dedicated Infrastructure. I am looking for few suggestions on below aspect:-

  1. Can I go to 9.2 Update 6 with 32 bit tools release lower than 9.2.6.* I assume that we can but looking forward for confirmation.
  2. Should we first do 9.1 upgrade to 9.2 Update 5 32 Bit (32 Bit Upgrade) and once validated, should go for 64 bit conversion from 32 bit tools release 9.2.5.* to 64 Bit 9.2.6* or is there any recommended path to upgrade 9.1 directly to 9.2 Release 22? There are lot of customizations to standard BSFN and NER's so need your advise to safest and quickest route.
