Update manager was released with Release 22 and expands the capabilities of Change Assistant without the need of deployment server. It was developed based on customer feedback regarding the tracking of special instructions, customized objects, and dependency information. The Update Manager relies on Change Assistant and new Oracle-delivered Orchestrations. These orchestrations connect to your JD Edwards EnterpriseOne data and provide better comprehensive reports.
