JDK6 fails on Forms 10.1.2

Using Latest Java 6.0 Update With Oracle E-Business Suite Release 12 (Doc ID 455492.1), step 3.6 fails on applying patch 14029881.

I have performed all steps as mentioned in the Doc ID 455492.1 till step 3.5 where it requires to move folders as follows:

$ mv <10.1.2 OH>/jre/1.4.2 <10.1.2 OH>/jre/1.4.2_old

$ mv <10.1.3 OH>/jre/1.4.2 <10.1.3 OH>/jre/1.4.2_old

Step 3.6 fails on applying patch 14029881 with the following error:

$ opatch apply

Error in executing Java program to check conflict

ERROR: OPatch failed during prerequisite check.


When I tried to check the inventory, it failed:

$ opatch lsinventory

java.lang.UnsatisfiedLinkError: <HOME>/10.1.2/oui/lib/linux/liboraInstaller.so: <HOME>/10.1.2/oui/lib/linux/liboraInstaller.so: wrong ELF class: ELFCLASS32 (Possible cause: architecture word width mismatch)
