Form I-9 (U.S.A only) - 2023 changes (UPDATE as 10/10/23)

The form I-9 is expiring in Oct 2022, Dept of Homeland Security recently announced the PROPOSED changes they would like to make. There will be significant changes (impact) to the Form I-9 form this year.

High-level overview of proposed changes:

• Compressing Sections 1 and 2 from two pages to one page to reduce paper use. - IMPACT to PS Form
• Moving Section 3 to a separate Reverification and Rehire Supplement - IMPACT to PS Form
• Updating the List of Acceptable Documents to include a link to List C documents (on the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services website) issued by DHS - IMPACT to PS Form
