Oracle Database Migration from AIX to Oracle Linux

Hello Everyone


We are doing a cross platform migration of an Oracle Database from AIX to Linux of Temenos T24 database. Actually the database size is around 40TB.


We are facing lots of issues to do this x-platform migration.

We can't use rman transportable xtts tablespace approach since it's an xml database.

We are trying to use datapump. Export is getting completed successfully but when trying to run import, we are getting lots of i/o errors.

Has anyone ever done such migration?


Any help would be much appreciated.


Source info:

db version 12.2 with normal file system


Target info:

db version 19.3 with asm
