Is it possible to change LINUX OS in SPARC T5-4SRV01 server

in SPARC T-series servers (MOSC) 1 commentAnswered ✓

We have Oracle SPARC T5-4SRV01 series server. With 64 core and 1024 Memory and 8* dual port NIC. At present Solaris (UNIX ) OS available. We are going to use for SAS ETL application. So going to change OS platform to LINUX. My question is

  1. Is LINUX OS is possible .
  2. If Yes, In future whether we will get performance issue.
  3. Or it is better to Install SAS ETL on Solaris OS platform.
