Replacement alternatives for EAL - HFM to Essbase

We are building new servers with 11.2.8. Current live system is 11.1.2.4. We are losing EAL support in this upgrade.

We currently use an EAL bridge to sync HFM to an Essbase cube every 90 seconds.


What is best practice to replace EAL? Is it FDMEE?

If FDMEE is the best approach, is there a guide or easy migration of an EAL bridge to FDMEE?
