"Force" Compression of PDF attachments configuration option

Hello,

Is it possible to force compression of PDF attachments on Req, PO, Voucher...by setting some configuration option?

The challenge is that we add PDF file attachments directly to our database. They are stored in an “attachments” table (PV_ATT_DB_SRV) but the PDFs that are uploaded by the users are uncompressed and un-optimized. Compression and Optimization can make PDF files as much as 60% smaller, but we don’t (at the moment) have a way to “force” that option other than going around to 900+ users and telling them to compress their PDFs before uploading them (a wildly unrealistic user expectation).  Oracle should have a setting or option somewhere that allows to force PDF compression when we upload the files.
