Is it possible to recognize Negative Revenue line on AR Transaction?

We have an issue where business has recognized the revenue which should be lying on unearned. Now we are exploring ways from a transaction perspective if we can create a manual transaction with negative line having Revenue code combination and then will recognize manually.
