Critical Patch Update for Oracle WebLogic Server 12.2.1.4 (Doc ID 2806740.2) instructions says:

Step 1: Oracle Database Check

Middleware Critical Patch Updates include fixes for CVE-2021-2351. To be compatible, an Oracle Database Server is expected to be patched with July 2021 PSU or later, and configured using Doc ID 2791571.1 for the Native Network Encryption (NNE) changes. See "Oracle Database" for the latest April 2022 Critical Patch Updates.

What is covered by term “database server” in step 1? Is it WebLogic repository database only or is it required for all application databases?
