Recovering OLR after a RAC node crashed

We had one of our virtual RAC nodes crash this week. As a result the Oracle home for both grid and database got somehow corrupted. I had to run fsck on it. It fixed a bunch of issues and we could reboot the node and mount the home but can't start crs. I created a ticket and oracle had us run a startupcheck script and we have a corrupt OLR. They sent us a doc to follow on how to recover. Our question is which backup should we use.
