ODA CPU Pools licensing
On an ODA we can restrict the number of cores that are 'active'. This restriction can be used to limit the license requirement. Ex. 16 physical cores in the ODA, but can be restricted to only use 8, requiring 4 processor licences.
Recently, the ODA has added CPU Pools, to associate workloads to specific cores, so I can restrict Databases to use a pool of 4 cores, then LKVM VMs use another 4 cores. Is the licensing based on the total number of active cores in the ODA, or in the CPU pool?
