Adding back dropped disk R12.1.0.2

in Database - RAC/Scalability (MOSC) 12 commentsAnswered

Dear Experts,

If ASM dropped the disk from diskgroup(what ever might be the reason-lets say some transient failure)),how do we need to add it again? Do we need to label it again using asmlib and then add it back to diskgroup.

Will asm remove the label,when it drops the disk?please guide
