Solaris: Asset Management: How do you uniquely identify LDoms & Zones, due to no serial number?

Question: How do you uniquely identify LDoms & Zones, due to no serial number? Serial numbers are not available for all the ways that one can run Solaris, with its wonderful virtualization spectrum: PDoms, LDoms and Zones/Containers.

For: This is for Asset Management at my company.

Solaris Versions: 10 and 11

Running This Works In Physical Hosts (returns the serial number):

ipmitool sunoem getval /SYS/product_serial_number

It brings back the serial number.

However, that command string does NOT work in Solaris virtual systems: LDoms/Logical Domains/Oracle VM Server for SPARC
