New Customer First time dicousnt

Hello All,

We need help to handle the promotions.

We wanted to give a discount to the new customer for the first time orders. Is there any standard way to identify customers' first orders and provide discount based on the first order? Pls note that the customer can place the order either from the website or JDE; the discount should be applied in all case.
