Notification Framework - Batch Notifications - How to implement custom logic for recipient email add

Hello everyone!

I am exploring the Notifications Framework for the first time to leverage the Batch functionality to create Pending Approver Reminders for eForms that are sitting in someone's queue. I got some good info from a couple of Alliance presentations to get me going.

I have a Population Selection Query, Generic Template, Notification Setup, and Consumer Setup all working great sending the email notifications to my email address statically. The next thing I would like to do is implement custom logic for deriving the recipient email address for use the Batch Notification program using Population Selection/Query, since the 'Preferred Email Address' doesn't work for us and I would also like to ensure that emails are NOT sent to recipients when the program runs in Dev/Test databases.
