Remove OJVM

in Database Install/Upgrade/Opatch (MOSC) Question

Hi Community,

We are using Oracle database 12.2 and preparing to upgrade to 19C. I removed the OJVM per these instructions "How to properly remove the JVM from 11gR2 and newer standalone database instances" (Doc ID 2541088.1) . We don't use the related components and don't what to have to perform the patching.

My question is can / should I drop user OJVMSYS?
