Does ATO (Standard Item, made to order) work with OPM?

We have some standard FG items that are only made when we have orders for them.

Normally with discrete manufacturing, we have the ATO functionality using which we flag the item as "Assemble to Order" and OM pushes a job to WIP via the Manufacturing release functionality.

Is this functionality supported with R12.2/EBS with OPM (Process Mfg)?

Any help appreciated.
