Autoupgrade and standby

We have a 12.1.0.2 database on Linux that we are upgrading to 19C. We do have a standby database in our production database. Unfortunately, our test environment does not include a standby database setup.

We have performed several passes of the upgrade using the autoupgrade tool. At this point initial testing looks good but we still have more extensive testing to complete.

Where can I get good instructions on how to best use autoupgrade to upgrade both the primary and standby without breaking the standby.

I know that in the worst case, I could probably rebuild the standby environment but I would like to avoid that if I can.
