Security of Integrated Invoice Imaging / Intelligent Data Recognition

I have searched everywhere to no avail for information regarding the security of Integrated Invoice Imaging / Intelligent Data Recognition. My concern is an invoice comes into an Oracle inbox which contains a malicious PDF. Trying to find what security practices are used by Oracle to combat this. I will also be submitting an SR to Oracle for this information but beings I did not see anything about it in the community I figured I would pose the question here as well.
