Solaris 11 update - Ops Center 12.4 is not pkg compliant

Posting it here under Solaris Install/Patching/Update in addition to Ops Center subspace.

It has come to our attention that some customers have been running pkg fix or pkg update (unconstrained) on an Ops Center Enterprise Controller or Remote Proxy. These commands are destructive to your installation and will result in a restore or reinstall of the product. The root cause of this problem is that Ops Center 12.4 is not pkg compliant. We have documented the limitations that this causes in the product in the following MOS document:
