How can you make a reservation on a sales order from an Intransit Shipment

System Oracle EBS 12.1.3

When i try to make a reservations on a sales order using the supply type Intransit Shipment i get and error message "Supply source type is invalid, please change the supply source

is it possible to reserve against an intransit shipment?
