Why Excel Add-in tab disappears when a GL Web ADI template is kept on a LAN shared drive

When a GL web adi template , which is saved in shared network drive is opened, add-in tab disappears or has limited functionalities on the WEB ADI "Add-In" tab menu. Why is it so? Is it a expected functionality?


But when the same template is saved on laptop and opened, Add-In tab works well with full functionality.
