Cant connect to service running on instance 'available' after relocate

Two nodes RAC

Hi,

After a reboot of one of the servers, services that had failed over to its available instance (nodeB) applications cant connect, they get:

ORA-12162: TNS:net service name is incorrectly specified

Service has:

PREFERRED: instA on nodeA

AVAILABLE: instB on nodeB

Failing over the service back to its PREFERRED instance (nodeA), the connection works again.


Any ideas?
