Cancelled T4 By Mistake
E1 9.2 Cdn Payroll. T4's were produced and archived. Had a user cancel an Employee's T4 by mistake in the Cdn YE Workbench so the system created a new record in the YE work file with Amendment Type 2 (cancelled). We see the original T4 and the new T4 record representing the cancelled T4.
Is there any way to simply undo or delete the cancelled record so that we only have the original or do we have to do something special to get this back the way it was with only the original record? ie Can we cancel the cancel?
There is absolutely no documentation I could find that explains how to properly use the "Cancel" (T4) row exit option within the YE workbench EE Doc inquiry or the related the details of what it impacts (or doesn't) like the mag media/XML files etc. Any light that can be provided our options on this would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
